10th edition of IISF to take place at IIT Guwahati from 30 November to 3 December.

Northeast to hold first ever India International Science Festival showcasing Prime Minister’s vision for the Region.

At a press briefing at National Media Centre, Dr. Jitendra Singh disclosed that the 10th edition of the India International Science Festival (IISF) will be held at Guwahati, marking a significant milestone in the region’s journey towards becoming a hub for scientific and technological innovation. The festival, to be hosted at IIT Guwahati from November 30th to December 3rd 2024, is a testimony to the Government’s commitment to the Northeast and aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on the region as a key player in India’s growth story.

  • Registrants can choose up to maximum of 3 events only.
  • on successfull submission on "Event Participant" form, registrant will be redircted to a page where the opted events along with the respective google form links will be shown.

Water conservation program and Mass pond cleaning at Indol village under Nimapara Block on the occasion of Swachhata hi sewa activities

Jalsamvad workshop was conducted on 30 th Sep,2024- Program was jointly organised by Vibha Vani, Prayagraj chapter, Vijnana Bharathi, Sanjeevani trust and several other institutions . There were several project models by students on the topic- Water during this one day workshop which depicted various aspects of water conservation, wise use of water and other aspects which makes Water most important element of life. Many water campaigners who had worked for the society participated and shared their experience. Scientists from Namami Gange mission, CSIR - NIScPER also presented. Dr. Sunil chathurvedi presented on various aspects of water and need for Jalsamvad. Dr. Akilesh Tiwari and Dr. Rohit Sharma from Vijnana Bharati and shri. Udit Narayan shukla, Vibha Vani and Sanjeevani trust cordinated the entire event. Overall, program was good. We need such thousands of Jalsamvad across the nation

Action for Integrated Development, Flood relief activity 2024

Distributed Kit to 400 flood effected families. Each kit contains 10kgs Rice, 3kgs Redgram, 1kg manchi sanagalu, 2 kgs MVT powder, 1Dhari, 1 Bedsheet, 6hand bags 10Mtrs Rope etc total value of kit is approximately Rs.2900/-.

Career Enrichment Program on Marine Biology: its significance and Prospectus in India was organized by IQAC, Dakhyata Skills & Innovation Foundation ( A member organisations of Vibha Vani India, Assam) , in collaboration with Depts of Botany, Geology and Zoology. The program was delivered by Dr. Bitopan Malakar, Scientist B NATIONAL CENTRE FOR SUSTAINABLE COASTAL MANAGEMENT.

Five Days Hands on training on food Processing organized by Dakhyata Skills & Innovation Foundation ( member of Vibha Vani India) in association with Assam State SGF and BSG, Assam at Youth Development Centre, Guwahati. Trainees include unemployed youths, Budding entrepreneurs, Retd. Sr. Bureaucrats etc. Participants got an opportunity to interact with Mr. P. J. Konwar , Functional Manager, DICC, Kamrup(M), Consultant Mr. Thapa and Entrepreneur Mr. Pranjal Goswami and Mrs. Arunima Devi, State Secretary, BSG, Assam.
